Launch of the EOF network

The Saint-Martin church of Vailly-sur-Sauldre joined the Open Churches France network in 2025, an important step for the recognition and presentation of our local heritage. This integration underlines the remarkable character of the building and its openness to all, residents, visitors and heritage lovers. Thanks to this network, the church enjoys better visibility, tools dedicated to welcoming the public and media that facilitate the discovery of the places. Information desks have been installed, as well as a suitable signage, to tell the history of the church, its architectural elements and the generations that have shaped it. This launch is fully part of the mission of the association The Companions of the Church of Vailly: to preserve, restore and make live the Church of Saint Martin by sharing its historical and spiritual richness with the greatest number. This dynamic opens up new perspectives for the reception of visitors, the organization of events and the transmission of the memory of the village.
