WELCOME TO OUR NEW CURE

Since 1623 no less than 33 known priests or priors have passed through our church of Vailly on Sauldre.

We welcome our new parish priest, Father Hidulphe Bonazebi Bilali since the beginning of September 2026, who takes over from Father Carpentier (who invites us to continue our availability, our trust and our collaboration).

We salute the pilgrimage of all those priests or priors who, through their writings or by oral transmission, helped to reconstruct not only part of the history of our church, but also that of our commune.

For example, Curé Ramon, who looked at the history of the region, to parish priests Bauty, Durand and Noyer, who left many valuable information. To parish priest Péret very learned and excellent historian, to parish priests, Lelièvre and Planson, men of great knowledge, artist for the last... (or even the article on the painting of Saint Solange) to the parish priest Millet, silent man, of a great culture and music....
