Sancerre Road and Old Mill Road

The place « the Croix du Pâtis du Moulin » holds the name of a cross erected in 1693, perhaps replacing an older cross of 1575.

In this place, the valeters decalate their carts before entering the village.

This cross on which the initials MT and the date of 1693 are engraved is preserved in an individual.

During the construction of the Sancerre road and surrounding houses, the stele of this cross is broken.

A new finer stone bearing a lighter cross on which the seven instruments of the Passion are depicted, was erected in 1890 and placed in the corner formed by the new road and the Old Moulin Road.
