Vailly station on Sauldre

Vailly was located on the Argent railway line on Sauldre – La Guerche operated by the Société Générale des Chemins de Fer Economiques (S-E)
The Veaugues – Argent section was opened on August 26, 1907. Vailly generated significant rail, passenger and freight traffic. Many cattle were loaded there, including famous trait foals. (Hurley-2010)
In the summer of 1948, all traffic ceased on this line and was declassified on 1 July 1951.
